Parents Association

There is an active Parents’ Association in St Patrick’s National School.

The core committee meets regularly throughout the school year.

The PA liaises regularly with the Principal to s and implement to work on initiatives and organise fundraising activities.

The school sees parents as an integral part of St. Patrick’s National School.

There are very good home school links which are facilitated by annual parent-teacher meetings, newsletters, social media and parents are encouraged to contact teachers to discuss any matter of concern (appointments must be made).

The supportive Parents Association has given invaluable assistance to our school.

Some of their activities included: part funding resources for the Numeracy and Literacy Improvement Programme, part funded new IT initiatives and subsidised many activities such as swimming and educational trips.

If you would like to get involved, please let us know and we can put you in touch with the current committee.
